The AFF 583 engine support provides overhead support for the engine while the transaxle is removed from front-wheel-drive vehicles.

The manufacturer recommends it for four- and six-cylinder FWD vehicles. The support adjusts from 26-1/2 in. to 49-1/2 in. wide and offers 18-3/4 in. of screw travel.

Holding the engine from above frees up access underneath, so the transaxle can be removed without a separate jack supporting the engine.
